The new me.
Just in case, you all didn't get a chance to peep put my new look. I posted it here for the whole world to see. I know...I know...it may be a little different. But, I wanted the world to see that I have grown up and I am no longer the little boy that I used to be...nope...I am a man. Full and grown with tattoos of my name on my chest, yes, I am the best. I have been working out and I even have a couple hit songs out. The truth about my body must be told...and I have been working on me for a long time...so I thought that it was about time that I revealed myself to you all.
THE NEW MEEEEE!!!
I was at an internet cafe yesterday and this young white lady sitting by me was chatting away about her life and how she doesn't want to go home to her school reunion and blah blah blah. And she got to the part of her life where she was telling about her photographer and how great he made her look and blah blah blah. So, I chimed in and showed her this picture as a joke. I said, well, here is my photographer, he took this great picture of me. She kinda looked at it...looked at me...and then never spoke to me the rest of the time I sat at the computer. IT WAS HILARIOUS. Did she really think that was me? I didn't show it to her for her not to talk to me, but it kinda worked out.
Anyhoo, hi, everyone. I pray and trust that everyone is having a great and blessed week. It is almost over. GOD is so good, right? I have busy weeks and not so busy weeks. It seems like GOD never overwhelms me with three or four super busy weeks in a row. HE always is throwing in a rest week or two in the mix. It is too bad that I usually take the rest weeks and complain, complain and complain about something. One day I will learn...just watch.
It is 5 am and I am off to go teach. Yes, I have been getting my Poetry Workshop teaching on this week. By the time the week is over, I would have taught at three different schools or groups. And they range from adults to high school to middle school. I have some talent, ya'll. The same curriculum works for all three. GOD hooked me up. I am wide awake now, but once I get on the freeway, I might doze off. So, bust out a prayer that I don't run into anything. Don't pray that I don't fall asleep...cause I want to do that...I just don't want to hit anyone while I am sleeping and driving.
NO SPOKEN FUNK this week. Have you heard? So, get ready for the 20th of July cause we are busting out with RODMAN and AJ JAMAL...and Aja Monet and OMG...who is the other poet? I can't remember right now, but best believe that this show is about to be off the chains...for real...yay. Okay...I have to bounce...may GOD be with you in all of your plans and thoughts today...shoot, may he be with me and all mine, too. Oh and with my wife and child, too...doggonnit...Lord, be with us all today. YAY!
But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
